Vitamin D Products

General use is the prevention of rickets and hypovitaminosis.

Cholecalciferol USP/BP/PhEur (potency 40 million IU/g); crystalline vitamin D3 in 100 g pull-ring aluminium tins. A crystalline powder used in the manufacture of human and veterinary specialties both for oral and parenteral use.

Dohyfral D3-2000 AG USP/PhEur (potency 2 million IU/g); crystalline vitamin D3 in peanut oil in 1 kg bottles. This liquid formulation is particularly suitable for the preparation of pharmaceutical and veterinary specialties and for the vitaminization of food products (e.g. margarine and milk).

Ergocalciferol USP/BP/PhEur (potency 40 million IU/g); crystalline vitamin D2 in 100 g pull-ring aluminium tins. A crystalline powder used in the manufacture of human and veterinary specialties both for oral and parenteral use.

Vitamin D metabolites and analogs

These highly potent compounds are used as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients in specialties against bone and calcium disorders (e.g. renal osteodystrophy and osteoporosis), and for analytical and research purposes. All compounds are pharmaceutical grade high purity crystalline materials packed in glass ampoules under nitrogen.

Alfacalcidol PhEur (1 -hydroxy-cholecalciferol) is used as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient in capsules, tablets, drops and injectables.

Calcifediol USP/PhEur (25-hydroxy-cholecalciferol.monohydrate) is used as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient in drops, tablets and ampoules.

Calcitriol PhEur (1 ,25-dihydroxy-cholecalciferol) is used as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient in capsules and ampoules.

DHT2 USP/PhEur (dihydrotachysterol-2) is used as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient in oral solutions and tablets.
